Abstract: |
A desk-based study to assess the archaeological implications of the proposed construction of an amenity lake on redundant watermeadows to the east of the village of Steeple Langford identified that the integrity of the watermeadow system had already been removed, and that there was little justifiaction for their preservation. It was recommended that the surviving earthworks should be recorded prior to destruction. [AIP] |
