Abstract:		 Areas of archaeological potential were present within the site, comprising an area of possible medieval settlement along the route of a former lane and an area of possible prehistoric activity indicated by scatter of flints. A potentially prehistoric site indicated by cropmarks to the north may also have encroached into the site. However, there was no available evidence to suggest that archaeological remains of national importance were present within the site. [Au(abr)]
