Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out on land which had previously been used for allotments. A Late Bronze Age hoard and pits containing medieval pottery had previously been recorded in the vicinity. Twenty trenches were excavated, but the only feature recorded was a drainage ditch or land boundary containing 19th century pottery. It was concluded that significant archaeological remains were unlikely to be found on the site. [AIP] |
