Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	A watching brief was carried out at a site where a previous evaluation had revealed burnt flints and flecks of charcoal. During the watching brief, fragments of burnt flint and charcoal and an abraded sherd of pottery were recovered. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary in that part of the site.
