Abstract: |
A 360m long pipe trench was recorded and monitored at the north end of Hampton Court Park (Home Park). The trench was excavated by the Royal Horticultural Society in order to lay a permanent water supply to use during the Hampton Court flower show. The potential for revealing significant archaeological deposits was recognised by the Historic Royal Palaces Agency and the archaeological recording reflected this. The results related to a culvert of the water works of Henry VIII and an early 19th century paddock wall. [Au(abr)] |
