Abstract: |
<summary>Two areas were excavated prior to the construction of an oil pipeline which crossed the Worgret Dykes Scheduled Ancient Monument. A number of round barrows were also known in the area. The strategy enabled a full section of the monument to be examined, although very few finds were recovered. A full discussion of the form, function and date of the dyke system as well as the environmental evidence is expected soon. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
