Abstract: |
Monitoring of the foundation and service trenches revealed layers of natural accumulations of deposits over the underlying chalky gravels, however, a potential undated clay layer was noted in some parts of the base of the service trench. A large modern service was recorded as cutting through the central north to south axis of the foundations. Two undated pits were also recorded just to the east of the modern service. A buried land surface was also identified. No artefacts were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
