Abstract: |
Monitoring of the excavation of the foundation trenches revealed a small section of walling thought to date from the late 17th or early 18th century adjacent to the northern boundary wall. This northern boundary wall also appeared to have a block in door or gate. Beneath the modern deposit of gravel, presumably associated with the present building was a layer of dark brown sandy silt containing two fragments of butchered animal bone. [Au(abr)] |
