Abstract:		 Trial trenching was undertaken to assess the nature and extent of any possible archaeological remains in an area set aside for the next stage of the golf course development at Knighton farm. Early to Late Prehistoric finds and deposits were recovered from almost all over the survey area. Bronze Age post holes, pits and gullies were recorded as well as at least two Iron Age structures.
