Abstract: |
The watching brief recorded one large archaeological feature of undetermined character and possibly of 2nd-century date. The shape of its eastern side was observed in Trench 4 and gave the impression of a linear feature. However, its fill was also observed along the length of Trenches 1 and 2. The feature may therefore have been a multiple ditch or a large pit.[Au] |
