Abstract: |
A programme of archaeological work involving monitoring of test-pits and service trenches was undertaken at the Former Kent County Council Premises at Springfield, Maidstone, Kent, during redevelopment. The majority of the site was severely truncated by heavy landscaping and terracing, and only a small area to the north of the site was identified as being largely undisturbed, following the natural contour of the hill. No archaeological features were revealed but occasion finds were collected. [Au] |
