Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the excavation of three foundation trenches for new security walls on the north and east boundaries of the site. The trenches revealed a 19th century pond, 17th/18th century rubbish pits and several undated foundation rafts. Natural river terrace gravels were recorded at 2.22 metres OD. [Au] |
