Abstract: |
An assessment was undertaken that showed that the site was located within the walled area of the Roman town of Ratae Corieltavorum, within the walled enceinte of the medieval town and close to the centre of the modern town. Evidence of activity from these periods was thought to have survived. The site could not be evaluated further with ought significant expenditure on trial investigation. [Au(abr)] |
