Abstract: |
As part of the archaeological evaluation of the site, on the border between Coventry and Warwickshire, a programme of fieldwalking and extensive trial trenching recorded no evidence for significant archaeological activity. Certain agricultural practices such as ridge and furrow ploughing, 'lazy bed' construction and field drainage had left their marks across the area but the dearth of general activity was evident from a meagre assemblage of finds.
