Abstract: |
An assessment of the archaeological potential was undertaken on an area of land highlighted for potential mineral extraction. This revealed evidence of a possible prehistoric occupation in the form of a Scheduled mound of possible Bronze Age date, flint finds and cropmarks. Agricultural and industrial remains from the last two centuries were found in the form of cultivation marks, waggonways and cropmarks. [AIP] |
