Abstract: |
<summary>Four sample areas were studied on Tintwistle Moor as part of an archaeological survey of the North Peak ESA, comprising Arnfield Flats, Arnfield Clough, an area from Tintwistle Knarr to Robinson's Moss, and an area from Laddow Rocks to Rake Rocks. A total of 99 pieces of knapped flintwork was recovered from 33 locations, of which 12 produced groups of material rather than single items. Artefacts were located in all of the sample areas, although some areas had large blanks. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
