Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken across the site in response to a condition upon planning permission for the residential development of the site. Three trenches, 1.8m across and 17.5m, 7.6m and 5m long, were excavated within the development footprint. They revealed no archaeological features, structures or ground surfaces older than the 19th century. On that basis, the report concluded that no further archaeological investigation would be required. [Au(adp)] |
