Abstract: |
Excavation following evaluation in advance of development related to the Jubilee Line extension found over 3 metres of archaeological deposits. Recent layers lay above medieval dumping and the remains of a Roman building. A chalk wall and floor and a polychrome mosaic were located from this, under which were parts of a clay building and deposits. [AIP] |
