Abstract: |
Monitoring of the excavation revealed a simple sequence of deposits consisting of dark greyish brown topsoil, over dark greyish clayey silt, over chalk brash. A single modern service trench containing a blue plastic pipe was recorded. No archaeological features were observed and no artefacts were found during this programme of works. [Au(abr)] |
