Abstract:
An excavation was carried out after an evaluation had revealed medieval and post-medieval features. Quarry pits were recorded, and a ditch was found which had been backfilled and subsequently used as a path. A late 15th century pit and a further pit containing 13th-14th century pottery were found. A timber barrel well, 16th-18th century pottery and an 18th century cess pit were also recorded. [AIP]
