Abstract: |
The evaluation, consisting of the excavation of trial trenches, was undertaken in response to a condition upon planning permission for office development on the site. The entire site had been truncated by modern excavation and no surviving soil profiles were evidence overlying the natural deposits. One residual broken flint blade was recovered from the gravel deposits, but no other archaeological features were uncovered. [Au(adp)] |
