Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the groundworks for the lifting and replacing of part of the floor of St Anne's Church, in the chancel, nave and south aisle. The works did not penetrate below the hardcore base of the modern floor. However, the top of a post-medieval brick vault was exposed and recorded, it remains in-situ below the re-laid floor.[Au] |
