Abstract: |
Although the area contained a high proportion of Roman remains, no Anglo-Saxon or medieval features were predicted on the site. Various remains from the Bronze Age, including several cremations had been previously located in the vicinity. The site may have also contained post-medieval and modern structures such as cattle market and a football pitch. [AIP] |
