Abstract: |
Two 26m by 2m trial trenches were excavated in advance of the proposed construction of a new stabling block. The report concluded that the archaeology on the site was of little significance - all of the features were post-medieval in date and although probably representing two phases of layout (one associated with arable use), all were part of field systems.
