Abstract: |
<summary>An evaluation was undertaken on the site of proposed development. This comprised three trial-trenches and geophysical survey in an area of a find spot of a prehistoric stone axe-hammer. The geophysical survey indicated two possible tops of embankments or slopes and a possible linear feature. The excavation provided no evidence for archaeological activity prior to the Post-Medieval period. The possible features identified by the geophysical survey appeared to be animal burrows and geological deposits. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
