Abstract:		 <summary>The results of the excavations carried out seemed to suggest that an urban infrastructure was established possibly in the 13th century, possibly connected with industrial works. This was then abandoned and the waterfront given over to ballast tipping, then later an urban infrastructure was re-established on top of the tips.
