Abstract: |
<summary>Geophysical surveys were undertaken to search for the remains of an interval tower and gate structures connected to the outer wall, as part of an archaeological assessment and conservation plan. The results suggested the massive foundations of a building, possibly representing an interval tower. Weak linear anomalies in the north of the study area provided evidence for structures built against the inner face of the curtain wall. The outer ditch was represented by an area of low resistance. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
