Abstract:
From the salvage recording it was concluded that the ground works did truncate the remains of the medieval defensive rampart, but these deposits were not as well preserved in this area as in the rest of their circuit around the city due to the scale of disturbance associated with services and the excavation of a subway which formed the southern edge of the site.
