Abstract: |
<summary>A preliminary assessment of the route of the new British Petroleum pipeline was undertaken, involving magnetometer and contour surveys and the excavation of a series of test-pits. The route crossed a Scheduled Monument known as the Worgret Dykes. Geophysical survey failed to produce any significant evidence of the ditches associated with the monument, or any other subsoil features. The test-pits produced the most interesting results close to the projected line of the monument. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
