Abstract: |
The assessment, in advance of the construction of five dwellings, identified ths site as the former 19th century landscaped gardens of Hayton House, which was demolished in the 1950's. Thirty sites were recorded by the study, eleven of which lay within the application area. None of these were Listed Buildings. The assessment reccomended further archaeological work in the form of a photographic survey and targetted evaluation.[Au(adp)] |
