Abstract: |
The evaluation confirmed the presence of two, possibly three linear features originally identified from aerial photographs. They were tentatively dated to the Late Iron Age or early Roman period. Pottery of this date was also recovered from the site. A pit-like feature in another trench, identified from the aerial photographs, was thought to correspond to a patch of natural gravel.
