Abstract: |
<summary>Five evaluation trenches were excavated where the proposed route of the Northbridge Relief Road crossed land lying within the Roman and medieval town of Doncaster. Trenches off Low [?Lower] Fisher Gate revealed a series of medieval structures, including walls and a possible wharf. Roman pits, post holes and ditches were revealed in trenches excavated in the Market car park. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 4197 |
