Abstract: |
An assessment was carried out in response to proposals for a new housing development. The site lay in an area rich in archaeological finds and deposits and the projected course of the Roman road from Silchester to Chichester crossed the site. The infilled Basingstoke Canal lay partly within the site's boundary. [Au(abr)] |
