Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out at the site during the redevelopment . Five site visits were made from January to March 2006. The groundwork monitored were removal of the concrete slabs which underlay the previous buildings, grubbing out of existing foundations and electricity substation and hand excavated trenches to locate services/foundations. The site was found to have been almost entirely truncated by modern building work and services. No archaeological features or artefacts were present. [Au(adp)] |
