Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site within an Area of Archaeological Potential. Palaeolithic and bronze age material had been found in the surrounding area, and a settlement in the vicinity had been referred to in a document of AD 693. During the evaluation, at least ten post-medieval ground raising dumps were identified, and pottery dating from the 17th-19th centuries was recovered. [AIP] |
