Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken during the construction of an extension to the rear of the former Lloyd's Bank building. No archaeological features were revealed, however, a sherd of medieval fine grey ware, a medieval clay tile and two fragments of post-medieval tile, one 19th century brick, animal bones and one fragment of oyster shell were recovered.
