Abstract: |
During the course of the evaluation a shallow pit containing part of a Saxo-Norman cooking pot of late 11th to 12th century date was encountered. The pit had been cut by a further pit containing 19th/20th century building debris. Further 19th/20th century floor layers and debris were also located. An east-west aligned ditch which contained 12th/13th century pottery was also revealed. A number of modern features, which included a well, were also encountered.[Au(abr)] |
