Abstract: |
Both magnetic and resistence measurements suggested that a low concentration of potential archaeological anomalies were present. On excavation, the anomalies were found to relate to a ditch, cobbled surface and a recent wall. There was also evidence for the posible presence of pits and ridge and furrow. The resistance survey in the gardens of Manor Farm House was undertaken to eastablish the presence or otherwise, of an earlier building. However, the survey revealed few anomalies of archaeological interest. The final survey area, near to the Rectory Farm, revealed a group of high resistance anomalies of unkown origin. [Au(abr)] |
