Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of foundation trenches for a conservatory. An archway and a series of walls were revealed, along with river deposits. These may all have represented part of the original mill race for the early post-medieval mill, from which Mill House originated. Unfortunately, no finds were recovered during the fieldwork to indicate the date at which the channel fell into disuse. [Au(adp)] |
