Abstract: |
The site under examination had potential for Roman or prehistoric finds or remains, as suggested by previous finds in the area. Due to the more extensive nature of the quarry works in the 20th century, it was likely that a sizeable part of the site had been disturbed by these activities, to the extent where insubstantial remains will not have survived.[Au(abr)] |
