Abstract: |
The site of an archaeological watching brief and survey was located in a street that dated from at least the early Middle Ages, and possibly even the late Saxon period. The earliest surviving features located were cellars which were thought to date to no earlier than the fifteenth century. Evidence was also revealed for an 18th century banking hall and banker's dwelling. [AIP] |
