A watching brief was carried out during the reduction of ground levels and excavation of foundation trenches prior to the erection of a single storey bungalow. No archaeological features or deposits were observed. Some post-medieval pottery, clay pipe stems and an assortment of other finds of recent date were observed in the topsoil but no finds of medieval date were recovered. [Au(abr)]
