Abstract: |
Following the creation of a new sewage treatment plant on the Vyne Estate it was required to connect the new system to the old pipe network, and, in some cases, to create new services. An earlier evaluation of the site by Wilson (1998) recommended that a watching brief should be carried out on the excavation of the service trenches. A gravel layer (probably for turning carts), the brick foundations of a greenhouse, a rubbish pit, and garden features were recovered. [Au(adp)] |
