Abstract: |
During the course of the watching brief the medieval castle wall was observed in several locations. A section of the castle / city wall suffered some accidental damage at its eastern end during ground works. The sections of the wall observed were thought to form part of the 13th century modifications made during the reign of Henry III identified during a previous evaluation. [Au] |
