Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the site of a manor house. The House was owned by the National Trust who restored the building only for it to be destroyed by fire. Following the fire the gutted shell was demolished and grassed over. The results of the excavation were to be used in the decision of the future use and management of the site. The surviving walls of the house were poorly preserved and the foundations were unsuitable for re-use. [Au(adp)] |
