Abstract: |
<summary>Desk-based assessment of the archaeological impact of a proposed service area on the A564 Derby Southern By-Pass identified traces of ridge and furrow earthworks within the development area. Archaeological features identified in the surrounding area included the Aston Cursus (a Scheduled Ancient Monument), and a concentration of activity from the Early Neolithic to the Roman period, comprising settlement, ceremonial and burial sites, within one kilometre of the proposed development site. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
