Abstract: |
The evaluation consisted of the hand-excavation of two small trial trenches across an earthwork bank in order to clarify its nature and attempt to locate the presence of a suspected former fence line. The evaluation demonstrated that a line of spars and thick-guage wires existed sub-surface mainly to the south of the crest of the bank. There was also some indication of an infilled ditch to the north of the bank. [Au] |
