Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed construction site. A cess pit containing an important assemblage of late 18th to early 19th century pottery was recorded. Other post-medieval finds included tokens, coins, glass and clay pipes. A Roman coin was recovered, and 18th century walls were revealed. Further walls were observed during a subsequent watching brief. [AIP] |
