Abstract: |
Four trenches were excavated at the former Millfields Caravan Park to evaluate the site after a desk-based assessment had been completed. Two trenches revealed alluvial deposits, overlain by recent material, while the other two contained various features cutting, and being overlain by, the alluvium. Pits, ditches, a well, a wall, a hearth and post holes were provisionally dated to the 13th to 16th centuries. [AIP] |
