Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out at land to the rear of Sapcote Methodist Church Hall. It consisted of trial trenching and observation and revealed evidence for medieval occupation consisting of ditches, post holes and a limestone surface. A quantity of medieval and post-medieval pottery was recorded in addition to some residual Roman ceramic material. [Au(adp)] |
